Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member to support the LEGO Retail Development team across design, technical, and implementation tasks.

In this role, you'll assist in creating CAD drawings, help deliver store format solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and efficient retail design execution.

You'll build an understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle while supporting the use of tools and systems that drive quality and efficiency across global retail projects.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position


Core Responsibilities



  • Support the delivery of store format technical solutions and help implement them effectively – from understanding store design concepts to assisting with layout execution and equipment coordination within LEGO Retail Development.
  • Create and update CAD drawings to support the Retail Design team in developing and refining store layouts, technical details, and equipment placement across a variety of global formats.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in design and project teams, as well as global stakeholder groups (WE, AMS, REEMEA, & APAC), to help deliver consistent store format and project support.
  • Work closely with teams including Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Construction & Projects, and Design & Engineering to help coordinate store format adaptations and contribute to project alignment.
  • Assist in ensuring store format strategies and segmentations are followed across markets and channels by supporting documentation, consistency, and standardisation efforts within the broader LEGO Retail platform.
  • Develop an understanding of stakeholder needs and help apply the right tools, systems, and communication practices to support the success of Retail Development initiatives.
  • Bring a foundational understanding of retail design and deployment, offering support and guidance where needed to teams across LEGO Retail Development.



Do you have what it takes?



  • BA Interior design, Architectural Design, Architectural Technology or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years relevant architectural drafting experience, in store design roll-out & formats, layout + fixture design & detail
  • Must be able to render & require visualization skills.
  • Must have store roll-out formats experience
  • Site experience and project coordination needed
  • Interpret, develop, and execute project designs from as-built measuring to final permit submission.
  • Proficient in VectorWorx, Adobe CS or related and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment with strong communication skills.
  • Possess initiative to move forward to the next task without constant direction.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously at various stages from beginning to end.
  • Willingness to travel, possibility of travel no more than 30 days per year.
  • Be hands-on during fixure development and prototyping.



NICE TO HAVE



  • Ability to work on own initiative but also be a team player.
  • Time spent in a manufacturers environment (joinery/shopfitting) beneficial
  • Knowledge of Building Codes and Accessibility Standards. Interpret specifications and manufacturers cut sheets.
  • Communicate and coordinate with project team, engineers, consultants, and/or contractors as needed.
  • Able to deliver VR digital experiences and AR/animation type selling in experiences.
  • Have additional 3D modeling skills & knowledge of SketchUP, AutoCAD + Cinema 4D.
