Recruiting on behalf of Impact Fund Denmark

Are you ready to combine financial expertise with a purpose-driven mission?

About the position

As a Senior Valuation Analyst at Impact Fund Denmark, you’ll step into a unique role where your valuations directly support investments that build greener, fairer, and more inclusive societies across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and parts of Europe.

Reporting to the Head of Valuation and Reporting, you’ll take the lead on valuing a diverse portfolio of unlisted investments, preparing quarterly investor reports, and providing analytical support to investment teams. You’ll be part of a small, highly skilled team that works closely across departments and international offices, in an organization where finance truly meets purpose.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with recurring valuation cycles and investor reporting deadlines, but also have the chance to drive improvements, contribute to new processes, and support the implementation of new systems as Impact Fund Denmark continues its exciting growth journey.

Your primary tasks:

  • Prepare valuations of portfolio investments for quarterly financial reporting and investor updates
  • Prepare quarterly external investor reports and financial reporting to the board
  • Validate and control financial inputs across investments
  • Support investment professionals with financial analysis, modelling, and valuations for new investments and exits
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional offices to ensure high-quality data and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of valuation methodologies and reporting standards

Who are you?

We imagine you hold a relevant master’s degree, such as cand.merc.fir. or equivalent, and bring at least 3-4 years of experience from financial analysis, preferably in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity.

You have a strong track record in valuations and are confident working with complex financial models.

As Impact Fund Denmark increasingly invests in loan structures, you should bring – or be eager to develop – strong analytical skills within pricing, risk assessment, and credit analysis. Your approach is structured and detail-oriented, and you thrive in a collaborative environment that spans across cultures and geographies.

You’re proactive, flexible, and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines with precision. You communicate fluently in English and are skilled in Excel, ideally with experience using Bloomberg or similar financial platforms.
