Job Description
Do you want to play a key role in shaping the way we work with software processes across our global organization? Are you passionate about designing, implementing, and optimizing software development processes to improve efficiency, quality, and performance?

When millions of people every year check in their luggage in one airport and picking it up in another, it is due to the quality of BEUMER Groups complex baggage handling systems and the software running it. The level of quality is also present in our logistics solutions, where distribution centers daily sort thousands of parcels to be delivered all over the world.
As a Software Process Manager, you will be responsible for software process activities such as designing, implementing, and optimizing of our current software processes (Software Development Life Cycle - SDLC) to improve operational efficiency, quality, and performance across the software solution organization. This role involves close collaboration with several software engineering teams to ensure our software processes are aligned and deployed in BEUMER's Software Solution organization.

- Evaluating current software process / SDLC workflows to identify inefficiencies, develop and implement optimized processes, and lead continuous improvement and change management efforts throughout the organization.
- Supporting the deployment of software processes / SDLC across the global software organization as well as ensuring that teams are effectively trained and compliant with our mandatory software process framework.
- Ensuring software process / SDLC compliance through regular audits during all software project phases, as well as monitor adherence to quality standards and mandatory procedures across the global software organization.
We expect you to have a proven track record in software process management and knowledge of software process frameworks. We also imagine that you:
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
- Have experience with software development methodologies and/or software project management and process audits.
- Possess the ability to work both strategically and operationally.
