Job description:

Together with the R&D team you will take part in the design phase of new products and become a key person with responsibility for the development, production and evaluation of different types of polymeric and rubber coatings. The development will take place in collaboration with suppliers and customers in our lab facilities in Odense.

The main tasks will concentrate on improvement of existing products as well as the development of new materials within polymeric adhesives and rubbers and their interactions with different metal substrates including testing of chemical and mechanical properties. A key focus point will be a close connection to the production facilities – The nature of the job demands very active involvement in the production. The development will be done in close cooperation with our strong internal R&D resources already established within the company. You will become part of a professionally strong and well-functioning team, which has a central role in realizing the company's growth targets in the coming years.

There are many possible paths to this role. Preferentially you would have a degree as chemist, chemical engineer, or relevant experience within chemical processes. Ideally, you have from 2 to 10 years of experience from similar types of job. You could also come with a background within product development, acoustical or mechanical engineering, combined with a drive to take on tasks in production. Overall, you have a good understanding of R&D processes, collaborating with production, including planning, executing, and implementing products and processes.
