Job Description
Passionate about streamlining processes, automating tasks, and empowering others through self-service solutions? Eager to eliminate bottlenecks and reinvent workflows for quick, effective outcomes? If putting users at the center of every solution is exciting, the Lead Engineer role in the Network Engineering Platforms team could be the perfect next adventure.
Join a space where innovation crafts the digital backbone of the LEGO Group and helps build something extraordinary—one brilliant idea at a time!
Core Responsibilities
The Lead Engineer will develop and coordinate Objectives and Key Results for the team, ensuring alignment with interpersonal goals and strategic objectives. Being close to our partners, we will inject their needs into our roadmap translating single requests into enterprise-wide services that will contribute to the entire organization.
Sharing and bringing new insights into improvements is an integral part of the role in ensuring that we constantly strive to produce the best possible quality in our products. With the increase in digitization, the Network Engineering Platforms team deliver backend APIs for provisioning new offices, stores or manufacturing lines to allow our user base to make firewall changes or perform mass scaled software maintenance.
Working in LEGO Digital Platform & Infrastructure domain is a hugely exciting experience and a superb opportunity to work with groundbreaking front-end technology in a diverse and upbeat engineering team.
The internal network of the LEGO Group is expected to grow 25% by the end of 2026 without growing the engineering teams while maintaining an average change time of less than 1 hour for user generated changes.
The Network & Connectivity sub-domain provides detailed network connectivity to our stores, offices, datacenters, and colleagues around the world. We are responsible for delivering the scale automation engine which keeps 20,000+ devices up to date with the accurate configuration. With an average of 600 daily and automated network changes ranging for port reconfigurations, software maintenance, life-cycle management and deployment of new stores or offices network automation enables key innovation and agility within the LEGO Group.
