We’re looking for a Lead Engineer for Wireless Design & Operations—an authority in Wi-Fi and advanced connectivity who powers everything from automated guided vehicles in factories to interactive LEGO Store experiences worldwide. Core Responsibilities

The Lead Engineer will develop and coordinate Objectives and Key Results for the team, ensuring alignment with interpersonal goals and strategic objectives. Being close to our partners, we will inject their needs into our roadmap translating single requests into enterprise-wide services that will contribute to the entire organization.

Sharing and bringing new insights into improvements is an integral part of the role in ensuring that we constantly strive to produce the best possible quality in our products. With the increase in digitization, Wireless Design & Operations is responsible for delivering wireless connectivity to factories, offices and stores - 30,000 colleagues, vendors and guests depend on great working services all day and all year.



  • Drive overall wireless design and architecture for offices, stores and factories.
  • Develop and drive roaming environments for highly automated and autonomous projects on the factory shop floor.
  • Enable automation and efficiency gains with a network that is scheduled to grow in the next 2 years.
  • Enable our partnering teams to support life-cycle management of network equipment and ease growing the network.
  • Drive speed of delivery through standardization.

The internal network of the LEGO Group is encouraged to grow 25% by the end of 2026 without growing the engineering teams while maintaining an average change time of less than 1 hour for user generated changes.

The Network & Connectivity sub-domain provides detailed network connectivity to our stores, offices, datacenters, and colleagues around the world. We are responsible for supporting the scale automation engine which keeps 20,000+ devices up to date with accurate configuration. With an average of 600 daily and automated network changes ranging for port reconfigurations, software maintenance, life-cycle management and deployment of new stores or offices network automation enables key innovation and agility within the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

The preferred candidate has some leadership experience handling the technical direction for teams and software engineering development. Significant experience with enterprise Wi-Fi design, planning and rollout. Together with strong knowledge in implementation of Cisco and Arista based Wi-Fi and experience with ITIL process implementations for Change, Problem and Incident management.

To succeed in this role, you ideally already have experience with some of the following



  • Leadership mentality in trouble shooting, leading the way and proposing long term solutions to problems and incidents.
  • Balancing partner concerns with users' requests.
  • Leading delivery schedules.
  • Being agile in spirit, having a true passion for technology, using creativity and bravery to solve complex tasks would be a great combination.
  • Able to play with LEGO Bricks during meetings.



Advanced English both written and verbally is a need since we are an international gathered team.
