Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Category Manager - Electronics Manufacturing Equipment to drive substantial value creation in ensuring excellence and optimizing capital investments and to enable new capabilities within the CAPEX community for contract and development of a new supply base.
Core Responsibilities
Within CAPEX & MRO procurement we are global responsible for sourcing and defining the global category direction, including supply market intelligence, vendor selection and global contracting. We will drive this through strong and systematic category management on all sub categories (Moulding, Moulds&Moulds Manufacturing, Processing, Packing, HBW, Innovation support and Global MRO).
There is a significant value-creation potential in securing excellence and optimizing capital investments. Post purchase it is equally important to monitor the total cost of ownership especially through following maintenance, repair and operations. Sustain Momentum and Making way for balanced growth requires close collaboration across the eco-system. It's no longer just focusing on transparency about today's practices or about the footprint of the product, but on what the new value chain should look like as a system and how to get there at the right time with the right eco-system in order for TLG to further grow.
Within CAPEX & MRO, Electronics Manufacturing equipment is a new, but important category with high impact on factory operations. The category is currently expanding as TLG expand portfolio within mechatronics, through a new innovative program. This expansion requires new capabilities within the CAPEX community for contract and category management of a new supply base.
Stakeholder management within this category is on L3-L5 level (SD and below level)

We're looking for a Senior Category Manager - Electronics Manufacturing Equipment to drive substantial value creation in ensuring excellence and optimizing capital investments and to enable new capabilities within the CAPEX community for contract and development of a new supply base.
Core Responsibilities
- Development of Global Category Sourcing Plan and execution inclusive global suppliers management - End-to-End Value Chain perspective through Category Management Team(s)
- Responsible for global opportunities, sourcing and consolidation in close collaboration with key stakeholders in E&Q and Operations in general, including Global stakeholder management and KPI execution - Ensure benchmarking and continually market insight to secure we stay ahead of competition
- Strong collaboration with local teams from other procurement categories ensuring a “One Procurement” team approach to governance and compliance, especially across productionsite procurement
- Manage the contract process by acting as the single point of contact (for procurement, legal and finance) to the business stakeholders
- Supplier management securing a scalable and flexible global supply base, Conduct commercial negotiations and SRM - contracting / negotiations and performance, more over manage suppliers C-level to secure our businesses are developing in the same direction - Be a key player to secure external perspective and leverage TLG strategy
- Be accountable to all aspects of local / regional / global commercial governance including Code of Conduct, contract and PO compliance - Conduct operational performance review meetings & govern supplier relationships to foster mutual opportunities

Do you have what it takes?
- Strategic flair and collaborative person with 3+ years of relevant expertice within procurement, relationship management with strategic suppliers, project management and/or engineering in a international company. Preferably with spend under management of min. 100 mDKK.
- Experience with CAPEX contract management especially Complex High Speed Automation Equipment and Sub-Assembly.
- Negotiation skills , experience with large,complex spend.
- Specialist knowledge within manufacturing equipment especially High Speed Automation Equipment and Sub-Assembly systems Knowledge and experience with Engineering processes
- 1-2 years leader partnering experience with strategic level – C-level at external suppliers, internal SD level
- International mobile, expect traveling 20-25 days a year
