Our Markets Front Office Tribe is a vital component of Danske Bank. We've assembled a team of IT professionals in a collaborative development organisation, rooted directly in the Markets business. Here, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues globally, in a team known for its inclusive and professional culture.
As a Software Engineer, you'll be a valuable part of our OTC Deal Capture Squad. This squad is charged with managing and extending the vendor-supplied system, Summit. Summit is a widely respected solution for the OTC derivatives market, with over 25 years of market expertise. More than 160 banks globally trust Summit to support their trading desk activity. This functionally diverse core trading solution for capital markets aids business growth, enhances straight through processing (STP), and accelerates time to market, while also managing costs and compliance.
This role is part of a cross-functional squad comprised of C++, .Net developers, and Tech specialists, providing numerous opportunities for learning and growth.

- Contributing to the analysis, planning, design, development, and testing of front and back-end applications.
- Enhancing application functionality.
- Collaborating as part of an international/multicultural team.
- Operating within a Windows environment.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency in C++ or .Net.
- Good understanding of data structures, design principles
- General good breadth of technology and common frameworks.
- Understanding of how to write testable, efficient code.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Good understanding of CI/CD and tools like Azure devops.
