As an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in wireless communication, you will be designing and maintaining our extensive portfolio of RF-based products, all built on robust embedded software platforms. Your primary focus will be on Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN), where you will play a key role in designing and optimizing solutions that enable reliable and energy-efficient connectivity.

More specifically you will be:

• Developing low-level embedded software in C or C++, both with and without an operating system, including hardware-near programming and measurements on low-power MCUs
• Designing and implementing communication protocols and protocol stacks within the LPWAN domain
• Writing unit tests in C/C++ and developing test scripts in Python to ensure software quality
• Contributing to secure communication features and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
• Working with a professional toolchain including GitLab, code formatters, static code analysis, AI components, various frameworks, and automated testing

Reporting directly to the Head of Heat/Cooling Hardware, you will join our Embedded Software team – an experienced group of 10 skilled and self-driven colleagues. The team is known for its open culture, strong team spirit, and proactive, can-do attitude. Together, we are dedicated to developing and optimizing communication for our smart meters and low-level infrastructure components.
