Due to our continued success, we are currently looking for a talented Test and Verification Engineer. We offer a challenging position where you will play a key role on the R&D team and help ensure our ongoing dedication to high-quality products.

You will join our Global Test and Verification team, with colleagues in Denmark, Germany, and Malaysia. We focus on developing new products and processes that combine several technologies in a new and innovative way.

This position is based in Ballerup, Denmark.

A job with global impact

Our team specializes in the testing and verification of medical devices. As a Test and Verification Engineer, you will actively participatie in product development projects - from the initial prototype phase to the launch of new products.

You will be responsible for developing the project’s test and verification strategy and planning global test activities. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in identifying reusable test methods and spearheading the development of new testing methodologies in both mechanical and electronic domains. It is essential that you possess the creativity to design innovative test setups, coupled with a hands-on approach, and a willingness to engage in laboratory work.

In Your Projects, You Will Contribute To

• Planning global test and verification activities
• Reviewing project requirements
• Designing and developing test methods and protocols
• Conducting both informal and formal tests to assess performance during and after development
• Collaborating with colleagues in Germany, Malaysia, and Denmark to establish and execute testing procedures
• Reporting test results and documenting any defects
• Coordinating with various project stakeholders across Germany, Malaysia, and Denmark
  
  

You should also be prepared to travel approximately 5-10 days per year, primarily to our manufacturing site in Malaysia.

You will be part of a test and verification team that works across various technical areas, including electrical, image processing, and mechanical testing. A willingness to learn about different technical disciplines will be beneficial.

As part of your responsibilities, you will also ensure documentation according to FDA and ISO standards.

Suggested candidate profile

Ensuring your success is one of our core principles. To support a realistic and attainable journey, it is essential that you have experience in the medical device industry, specifically in testing and verification. Giving the global nature of the role, we also recognize the importance of strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with cross-functional teams. Additionally, we value robust teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Skills and experiences can be acquired through various avenues, and we acknowledge that the ideal candidate for this role cannot be solely defined by their qualifications on paper. However, you are likely to thrive in this role if you have:

• An engineering degree, preferably in mechanical engineering
• Experience with statistical methods and tools such as SAS JMP or Minitab
• Knowledge of the IEC 60601 standard
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A curious mindset and a willingness to learn
• Keen observational skills with the ability to connect details to a broader context
  
  

Experience with requirement and test management tools, as well as cross-functional product development involving mechanical, electronics, and software disciplines, would be an advantage.
