The role

You will be responsible for approximately 100 employees working across both upstream and downstream operations. You will have a leadership team, focusing not only on production management but also on enhancing the robustness of our processes and ensuring smooth and stable operations. You will be an important part of the Drug Substance Leadership Team, where we are responsible for +500 employees allocated within up-/down-stream, solution prep, dispensary and a central Support team. Together as a team, we build a trusted culture in an open and honest environment.

Therefore, the job requires you to have an interest and knowledge on how to drive the right culture to ensure that we are constantly improving our current state. To prioritize and make the right decisions, we are in the process of building a strong data driven approach, and the journey is already showing great results. Daily focus on safety, quality and efficient Drug Substance delivery are the core of your responsibility.

You will be expected to maintain visibility and approachability, offering support and encouraging open communication within your team. With employees working various shifts, your role may require flexibility and presence during unconventional hours to ensure that all team members feel supported and engaged, regardless of their schedule. Experienced In Leadership And Production

We are looking for a candidate who brings 5+ years of leadership experience, and it will be an advantage if your educational background and/or knowledge lies within the pharmaceutical industry.

To be a success “You have the ability to find that sweet spot between setting the direction for the department while listening curiously to knowledgeable colleagues to understand the landscape we are operating in”, says Jakob.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate honestly and open at all levels and towards stakeholders.
• A good understanding and experience with complex processes and change management.
• A role model and practices visible leadership (gemba walks, participate in board meetings etc.)
• Talent to build trust and psychological safety at all organizational levels.
