As part of our commitment to improving patient access and shaping the healthcare agenda for allergy care, ALK is seeking a talented and driven Patient Access and Key Stakeholder Manager to join our team in Denmark. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives in market access and public affairs, working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. You will help ensure that allergy remains a national health priority and that patients receive timely access to effective treatment.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Co-develop and implement national and regional patient access strategies in close collaboration with local, Nordic, and global teams.
  • Lead public affairs activities at both national and regional levels, including communication planning and stakeholder engagement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patient organizations, LIF (Lægemiddelindustriforeningen), and regional health authorities.
  • Understand and analyze patient needs and access barriers, using economic arguments, real-world evidence, and customer insights.
  • Represent ALK in global market access projects and ensure alignment with headquarters.


Your main tasks:

  • Coordinate and manage market access plans alongside Sales, Marketing, and Medical departments.
  • Identify national access challenges along the patient journey and develop actionable solutions.
  • Develop and execute public affairs plans, ensuring clear alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of economic models and tools to strengthen reimbursement discussions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaborations to influence decision-makers and remove access barriers.
  • Actively participate in LIF activities, working directly with health economic and payer stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of pricing, reimbursement, and health policy strategies.


Geographical scope and peers:

  • National focus on Denmark with involvement in Nordic and global market access initiatives.

  • Internal teams in Market Access, Sales, Medical, and Marketing
  • Nordic Market Access and Public Affairs team
  • Global Public Affairs and Market Access colleagues


Decision-making and autonomy:

  • High level of independent decision-making and strategic influence.
  • Operates with minimal supervision and expected to manage complex stakeholder environments effectively.


Your profile:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, public affairs, market access, or healthcare policy.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Danish healthcare system and policy landscape.
  • Master's degree in Business, Health Economics, or a related discipline; additional training in health economics is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.


Skills and competencies:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to work with payers, healthcare authorities, and decision-makers at all levels.
  • Experience with developing and implementing successful access and public affairs strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for allergy treatment and advancing patient care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT tools.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing demands.
