Marketing & Communication Manager (18 month maternity cover)
Trackunit

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Marketing & Communications Manager (Maternity Cover) to join Trackunit’s Brand & Communications team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for elevating Trackunit’s brand and message across channels and audiences — ensuring we continue to be recognized as a thought leader in the construction tech space.
You’ll manage and execute cross-functional communication initiatives, from content development and messaging to branding, PR, and employer branding. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver compelling storytelling aligned with our brand purpose: Eliminating Downtime.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who can work independently and cross-functionally—translating complex stories into engaging narratives and visuals that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
This is also a maternity cover position, expected to run for 18 months, with the potential opportunity for a permanent position afterwards. You’ll be stepping into a well-defined role with clear priorities and ongoing projects, ensuring continuity and impact during the leave period.

What’s in it for you?- From a position in the marketing organisation you will work with both marketing experts and colleagues across Trackunit.
- A place in an agile growth SaaS business, with possibilities to grow internally in the company. We are moving quickly, so fasten your seat belt and prepare to adjust. Back in 2020 we were 150 employees at Trackunit and we have just passed 450 employees.
- International environment with regular check-ins and social events across teams, departments and borders.
- We take your personal and professional development goals seriously and we support them through training, coaching and mindfulness as well as with an open feedback culture to enable you to identify your strengths and opportunities. We do this by touching upon your impact on our triple focus: impacting yourself, impacting teams/relations and impacting the organisation/strategy.
- Flexibility and hybrid working is not just a cliché to us or something we state in a job posting. We do offer you a flexible setup and believe that you best can structure how your routines look like. And once you have chosen how you work best, let us know what you need: we got you covered with the IT equipment you need for your work.
- Turning the Tide. At Trackunit, we aim to create and contribute to an inclusive workplace. And this priority starts with our hiring - we do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, personal expression, ethnicity, religious belief, or disability status. We only assess candidates on their qualifications and merit.
- A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing and communications—ideally in a B2B or tech-driven environment.
- Strong writing and editorial skills, with a proven ability to create engaging content across formats—from press releases and blogs to newsletters and executive comms.
- Experience working with brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and tone of voice across teams and channels.
- Familiar with tools like CMS platforms, email marketing systems, and project management tools (e.g. HubSpot, WordPress, Asana).
- You’re a natural collaborator with a “get it done” mindset—ready to navigate a global, fast-paced organization and connect with stakeholders at all levels.
- You thrive on enabling others through strong messaging, clear communication, and powerful storytelling.
- Business-level English fluency is a must—our team is international, and our communication is global.
Don't meet every single requirement? No worries - this is what we're looking for ideally, but if you're particularly drawn to this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply.
