Finance Manager

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Copenhagen. You will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with colleagues across the Finance department and the wider organisation. This is a key role in ensuring financial excellence and supporting Impact Fund Denmark's mission to drive sustainable development through impactful investments.

Impact Fund Denmark – is Denmark’s Development Finance Institution. We invest in private sector projects that support the green transition and contribute to economic and social progress in developing countries and emerging markets. Our work spans Africa, Asia, Latin America, and parts of Europe.

The Position & Your Responsibilities

As Finance Manager, you will play a central role in financial reporting, planning, and compliance. You will help ensure the integrity of our financial operations and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Preparing and analysing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
• Preparing and ensure timely statutory, external and internal financial reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS and Danish GAAP.
• Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors and advisors.
• Driving process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.
• Collaborating with investment and operations teams on financial matters.

Your Qualifications

We expect that you:

• Have 5+ years of experience in financial management or senior accounting roles.
• Possess managerial abilities and be able to keep track on several simultaneous reporting.
• Possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Are proficient in financial systems (e.g. Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations) and Excel.
• Are structured, analytical, and detail oriented.
• Communicate clearly and work well across teams.
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
