Colleague for the Games Publishing and Marketing Team
Ghost Ship Games

Ahoy, fellow miners!
We’re looking for a new colleague to join our Publishing and Marketing team!
Who We Are
Based in the heart of Copenhagen, Ghost Ship Games is a passionate, close-knit studio of 45+ gamers. Guided by our “Co-op First” philosophy, we proudly created Deep Rock Galactic, one of Steam’s top 100 games, and we are supported by one of the friendliest player communities.
Our Approach
At Ghost Ship Games, we take a different approach to game development. Rather than following a rigid pipeline, we emphasize speed, flexibility, and rapid prototyping to enhance gameplay. We believe the best ideas come through iteration, and collaboration is key — both within our team and with our community.
What This Means for You
We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable switching between different work areas, contributing ideas, and refining them through ongoing feedback. Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset are essential. At Ghost Ship Games, we focus on delivering results rather than chasing perfection — so you should feel comfortable sharing work-in-progress and improving it step by step.
Who You Are and What You Will Be Doing
As our new crew member, you'll be part of the Publishing and Marketing Team and will work closely with all its current members. The team consists of three people — each with their own area of responsibility — and is led by the Head of Publishing. You'll also coordinate with the development teams at Ghost Ship Games and our colleagues at external studios across all the titles we publish, as well as engage with a variety of different server providers.
Your main responsibility will be to facilitate that every game — whether developed internally or externally — gets the support it needs for a successful launch on all relevant platforms. After release, you’ll continue to provide publishing support, helping live titles grow and succeed over time.
Skills & Experience
We don’t have a set bar for how much experience you need for this role, but to succeed, we’re looking for someone with the following experience and capabilities:
- Hands-on experience with game production and/or publishing.
- A strong understanding of the full game development cycle — from early concept to launch and live operations.
- Comfortable working across a wide range of publishing tasks and thriving in a role that isn’t limited to a single specialization.
Additionally, you
- Have applied experience supporting games from early development through release and post-launch support.
- Bring previous experience in roles such as Publishing Manager, Game Producer, or similar positions within the industry.
Your Day-to-Day Tasks Will Include
- Providing comprehensive publishing support, including setting up products on all platforms and ensuring store pages are updated and maintained.
- Coordinating the necessary elements for game release, such as localization, certification, age ratings, and more.
- Facilitating platform support, managing porting to other platforms, and addressing any other needs required for publishing and maintaining games.
What We Offer
- Flexible hours with the option to work remotely for two days each month and every Friday.
- Competitive salary with an annual bonus.
- Strong pension plan.
- Health and dental insurance.
- Paid parental leave.
- Five Weeks of vacation plus five extra days.
- Child sick leave.
- Spacious office in Gothersgade with lunch and plenty of social shenanigans.
