– Maritime Unmanned Swarm Networking: Develop advanced communication protocols, distributed control systems, and AI-driven networking strategies for autonomous marine swarms, including UAVs and USVs.
– Underwater Object/Event Detection: Advance methods in machine learning, sonar imaging, and acoustic signal processing for robust underwater sensing and detection.
Requirements
– A strong academic background in a relevant field (such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or Marine Engineering)
– Demonstrated research experience or interest in wireless communications, signal processing, or related areas
– For postdoctoral applicants: a PhD in a relevant discipline
– For PhD applicants: a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
