AVEVA SCADA Engineer

For a client within the energy sector, emagine is seeking a SCADA Consultant with strong expertise in AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware) to support and develop central SCADA systems used globally across the organisation. The consultant will join a growing SCADA team responsible for building new features, maintaining existing systems, and supporting internal SCADA users.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and support central SCADA systems built on AVEVA System Platform.
• Plan and carry out upgrades, installations, and configurations of SCADA servers and communication interfaces to site-specific systems.
• Implement and support grid services and business application integrations into SCADA systems.

• AVEVA System Platform (Application Server, InTouch, OMI, Historian Server/Client)
• OPC DA / OPC UA
• Modbus TCP
• Matrikon OPC Tunneller
• SQL Server (administration and queries)
• .NET
• Microsoft Windows Server
  
  

Requirements:

• Solid hands-on experience with AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware.
• Experience working with large-scale SCADA systems connected to remote sites.
• Proficiency with communication protocols such as OPC DA/UA, IEC 104, and Modbus.
• Skilled in SQL and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with .NET development is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of PI system is beneficial.

• Location: Greater Copenhagen, Denmark (on-site presence min. 2 days/week required)
• Extent: 37 hours/week
• Start: As soon as possible
• Remote work from outside Denmark is not permitted
