What will you do?
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Professional Services to establish and lead this function at Group level. This role will define the strategic direction, operational standards, and performance model for professional services across all Aceve entities.
The Professional Services organization encompasses:
- Customer onboarding and implementation
- Consulting and training services
- Advisory on workflow optimization
- Revenue realization through billable services
You will own the frameworks, tooling, delivery methodology, KPIs, and financial model that ensures services are delivered efficiently, profitably, and with consistent quality across markets.
Group-Level Strategy & Operating Model
-Build and implement the group-wide Professional Services operating model — including structure, processes, playbooks, pricing, and KPIs
- Define the service tiers, commercial offerings, and delivery methodology (e.g., white-glove vs. self-serve)
- Drive alignment across local teams to ensure consistency in delivery and customer experience
Customer Onboarding & Time to Value
- Define and enforce onboarding standards to reduce implementation time, lower onboarding cost, and maximize onboarding revenue
- Develop segmentation-specific onboarding paths (e.g., SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise)
- Establish and track KPIs like Time to Value (TTV), Implementation Margin, and Activation Rates
Consulting & Value-Add Services
- Create packaged and custom consulting services (workflow audits, process reengineering, system integrations)
- Drive cross-sell of services into existing customer base in partnership with Sales and Customer Success
Commercial Model & P&L Accountability
- Define commercial structure (rate cards, margins, utilization targets) for all professional services
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across countries
- Partner with finance to improve gross margin from service delivery
Performance Management & Enablement
- Standardize delivery KPIs: billable utilization, CSAT/NPS, delivery velocity, attach rate
- Implement tools and systems to support service delivery (e.g., PSA systems, playbooks, project trackers)
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing professional services leadership layer across geographies
- Identify best practices and roll-out on group level
Cross-functional Alignment
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and R&D to drive end-to-end customer success
- Ensure readiness to support international expansion and product launches from a delivery standpoint
Qualifications & Skills:
- 8–12+ years in a Professional Services, Customer Success, or SaaS Delivery leadership role
- Proven track record building or scaling professional services in a B2B SaaS company
- Experience with both direct implementation and partner-led delivery models
- Strong grasp of delivery metrics: time to value, utilization, margin, attach rate, CSAT
- Experience working in or with private equity-owned businesses is a strong plus
- International exposure (especially across Nordic or European markets)
- Structured, analytical, and outcomes-driven; thrives in operational design and execution
- Commercially savvy; understands revenue and cost drivers in services P&L
- Strong cross-functional leadership, collaboration and stakeholder management
- Can operate in a high-growth, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment
- Fluent in English; additional Nordic or Germanic languages are a plus
