Are you passionate about bringing large-scale EPC Power-to-X (PtX) projects to life in collaboration with a great team at the very forefront of the renewable energy sector? Do you thrive in leading a team of Procurement specialists within a young and fast-growing organization – while taking a strategic and hands-on approach to procurement?
Then join us as our new Head of Procurement!
The PtX Team
Our PtX team is a dynamic and rapidly expanding group of over 80 dedicated professionals. We cover all aspects from project development, engineering, procurement, construction, and operation & maintenance of our PtX projects.
As Head of Procurement, you will play a key role in our team.
Your Role
You will lead a team of five Procurement Project Managers and Contract Managers, fostering a dynamic culture of trust, teamwork, and ambition. You will be responsible for recruitment, mentoring, and setting out the strategic direction for your team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project needs.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will be directly involved in key procurement activities and take the lead on major contract negotiations. This is not a purely managerial role – your technical and commercial expertise will be essential in shaping and executing procurement strategies for large-scale EPC projects.
You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, and Construction, and lead initiatives to enhance efficient procurement procedures and constructive contract negotiations with our suppliers. Your role includes writing and reviewing complex commercial/technical contracts, ensuring quality assurance, and implementing lessons learned.
Together with your team, you will manage supplier relationships, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, while establishing efficient systems and processes for the entire procurement process.
You can expect minor travel activity (approximately 5–15 days per year) visiting sub-suppliers, our construction sites, and our office in Støvring.
