Job Description

Do you want to bring your tech talent and passion into play by helping the LEGO Group develop our digital engagement with B2B stakeholders? As an Associate Engineer in the Customer & Product Pricing team you will play a crucial role in building the digital experiences needed for planning and executing the product pricing strategy at the LEGO Group. As part of this job, you will get a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with members of the product team, facilitate workshops and solution experimentation with business stakeholders and join a large tech community giving the chance to spar with other engineers that share your passion.

The location of this role will be in Billund Campus. Please note there is no relocation budget for this position.


Core Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Software Engineers to deliver both new functionality and iterative improvements to mostly backend services and occasional frontend focused tasks.
  • Design, build and maintain scalable and reusable services using C#, Postgres, Typescript, Node.js and container/serverless technologies on the AWS stack.
  • Expose Synchronous and Asynchronous API’s that align with community best practices and guidelines.
  • Participate in code reviews with other engineers.
  • Focus on sharing knowledge with other engineers.
  • Identify and resolve scalability and performance issues.

Our team is called Customer & Product Pricing team, one of several product teams within the Partner Experience, that oversees a broader range of solutions facing our LEGO Retail stores, Partners and the LEGO Sales Organization. In our team we build digital solutions that primarily supports Revenue Management and Global Pricing business processes at The LEGO Group. Furthermore, we own and operate business crucial Product Price APIs. We serve a wide range of users from global and local price managers, global revenue management, Key account management, Customer development and Finance business partners. We are currently at an initial stage of moving our existing price planning solution from SAP BW HANA to SAP Analytics cloud. We expect a staged approach for this initially defining a solid data foundation in SAC and then building more advanced planning and reporting capabilities along the way.

Do you have what it takes?

Are you the self-driven individual as well as an organized team player? We are looking for candidates with background in Software Engineering / Computer Science or similar field. You come with proficiency in C#/.NET and Node.js/Typescript. In addition, you have



  • Know-how on SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL);
  • knowledge on containerization technologies such as Docker and distributed architecture;
  • Understanding of AWS Cloud platform (ECS, ALB, Lambda). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Focused on quality at all stages of the software lifecycle;



Some of Nice to Have but not MUST



  • Knowledge of RESTful API design, as well as modern, scalable, and resilient solutions;
  • Understanding concepts around Continuous Integration, GitHub and Cloud native development;
  • Experience with any modern front-end technology;
  • Knowledge of event-based solutions and async technologies;
  • Eager to explore new technologies and sharing of knowledge;
  • Highest attention to quality and attentive to detail;
