The job
As our new Business Development Manager, you’ll take charge of the entire sales journey—from identifying new opportunities to signing the final contract. You’ll help match our product to the right customers, and foster strong, lasting relationships with our clients, ensure proposals are commercially sound, technically robust, and legally compliant.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
You’ll be joining an experienced team working on SITE—a well-recognized marine coordination software used to plan and execute operations & maintenance tasks in offshore wind parks. Based on the Systematic Defence Product SitaWare, SITE supports major energy companies like Vattenfall, Dominion Energy, Ørsted, and RWE during both construction and O&M phases. Today, our software holds a significant market share, managing 45% of offshore wind turbine generators across Europe.
SITE is a well-established solution with a turnover of approx. €2.5 million. We’re currently focused on improving product quality and customer satisfaction, driven by a passionate Product & Services team under the leadership of a dedicated Program Manager.
You’ll also contribute to a growing area in Asset Surveillance—a new initiative that leverages SitaWare technology to protect critical infrastructure above and below sea level. This domain holds vast potential in today’s geopolitical climate and represents an exciting opportunity for future growth.

The job
As our new Business Development Manager, you’ll take charge of the entire sales journey—from identifying new opportunities to signing the final contract. Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Identify business opportunities by analysing market trends, customer needs, and competitors
- Explore new markets or partnerships, and understanding how our products meet client demands
- Drive lead generation and sales by developing and execute strategies to attract potential clients
- Establish and maintain relations to stakeholders in the full energy value chain from producers to TSO’s and DSO’s
- Manage bid process with internal and external stakeholders.
- Define project scope and pricing strategies aligned with client needs.
- Participate in negotiations, project planning, and internal reporting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to continuously refine strategic direction.

What We’re Looking For
You bring:
- A bachelor's degree or higher.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar business development role.
- Industry knowledge from Wind Energy (OEM, Owner, Operator, or Subcontractor).
- Familiarity with offshore intelligence platforms like 4C Offshore.
- Excellent communication skills in English—clear, concise, and confident.
- A proactive, structured, and collaborative approach with a strategic mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 25 days per year.
