We are looking for a technically strong and people-focused Engineering Manager to lead one of our cross-functional engineering teams. You will be responsible for the development of cutting-edge tracking systems for baseball and softball – using state-of-the-art radar- and camera tracking technology.

You will work closely with a team of experts within computer vision, machine learning, AI, radar signal processing, mathematical modelling and software engineering. Together, you will build advanced systems that turn complex tracking into actionable metrics and insights for our customers, and you will be a key partner for the Product Manager and Product Owner, helping to shape the direction of the product.

You will be reporting to the Head of R&D Tracking, and the position is based at our newly built HQ, Trackman Innovation Center, at the DTU Science Park in Hørsholm – a great environment for innovation and collaboration.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and support a team of skilled engineers, helping them do their best work every day.
  • Help team members grow by giving feedback, coaching, and supporting their career development.
  • Make sure the team delivers features and products on time - from early ideas to final release and maintenance.
  • Work closely with product owners, project managers, and other engineering leaders to build products that give useful insights to athletes.
  • Help the team build clean, reliable solutions that are easy to test and maintain, while avoiding unnecessary complexity and technical debt.
  • Work with other engineering leaders to agree on technical direction, improve team processes, and share best practices across the company.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience in software engineering of complex systems preferably with Python or C++.
  • Good understanding of at least one area like computer vision, machine learning, signal processing, or mathematical modelling.
  • A leadership style that focuses on helping people grow and work well together.
  • Experience working in agile teams and delivering products and features through their entire lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds and roles.
