VP - Head of Operations and Maintenance – Offshore Wind Industry

We are looking for a VP - Head of Operations and Maintenance to help develop, launch and ensure the long-term success of Cadeler’s new Operations and Maintenance business division.

What will you do?

As our new VP - Head of Operations and Maintenance you will play a big role shaping an innovative strategy, build the operational and commercial structure and lead a cross-functional team covering commercial, engineering, operations, and project execution disciplines. This role is pivotal in positioning Cadeler as a leading service provider in the growing offshore wind market for major component replacements, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle support.

Your main tasks include:

• Collaborate with the wider team to define and execute the strategic roadmap for the service and maintenance segment
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and key differentiators
• Build partnerships and alliances to strengthen the business offering
• Establish and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team (e.g., commercial, project management, engineering, operations)
• Foster a culture in line with Cadeler values and act as ambassador for Cadeler in client and industry engagements
• Drive the go-to-market strategy and customer engagement in the O&M segment
• Oversee tender processes, pricing models, and negotiation of O&M contracts
• Work closely with the Commercial and Strategy team to align with broader company targets and vessel allocations
• In collaboration with the Cadeler Marketing & Communications team, oversee the marketing strategy and launch of the Nexra brand
• Oversee the operational setup and readiness for delivering on O&M contracts
• Ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution of maintenance campaigns and interventions
• Integrate with existing fleet and logistics teams in Cadeler where relevant

We think you will be a good match if you have:

• An engineering, technical, or business degree (Bachelor or Master level)
• Proven leadership experience within offshore wind, marine operations, energy services, or a related field
• A strong understanding of the offshore wind industry, with specific insight into the service and maintenance market
• A proven understanding of technical and commercial matters
• Strong leadership and people management skills across diverse disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to build new business units or similar from the ground
