ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the renewable industry. You will support multiple offshore wind farm projects within our client's portfolio, requiring flexibility and adaptability. This role requires a proactive and flexible profile capable of delivering high-quality power system studies while collaborating effectively with the project team.

Location: Greater Copenhagen, hybrid.

Starting date: As soon as possible

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Support offshore wind projects in different phases by conducting EMT and Stability study
• Develop and validate detailed EMT and RMS models for key electrical assets
• Perform EMT studies and dynamic stability studies, including small signal and transient analyses
• Verify system behavior against TSO requirements; prepare technical documentation for grid code submission and support grid connection team
• Consolidate and report study results; support the project team with technical assessments and cross-functional tasks
• Execute the tasks across different projects depending on specific study requirements and priorities of the projects
• Ensure all work is conducted in alignment with internal guidelines, methodologies, and quality standards
• Seeking a resource with a flexible mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and adaptable to varying project workloads; average resource indication subject to change based on project demands

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Proven experience with PSCAD and relevant software tools
• Familiarity with dynamic vendor models, like wind turbines, STATCOMs, and SynCons, etc.
• Ability to work independently and follow client's established methodologies and QA processes
• Experience within Electrical Design Engineering
• Relevant educaltional background
• Previous work experience within electrical design engineering
• Professional level of English - both oral and written
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start working right away
