In this specialist role, you will lead complex chip projects for our next-generation hearing solutions – from specification to silicon.

You will guide projects within the ASIC team and work closely with other functions, while also contributing directly to the design of digital integrated circuits for hearing aid applications.

What you will do

  • Lead multi-site ASIC development projects, aligning interdisciplinary teams and technical milestones, ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met without compromising quality or cost-efficiency
  • Perform specification, design, verification, integration, and evaluation of custom digital subsystems
  • Define architectural definition, take feature ownership within the digital domain (e.g., signal processing integration, DSP/MCU architecture, IP core embedding)
  • Technical interface to external design partners

What you bring

  • A Master’s degree or higher in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in digital ASIC or FPGA development – from architecture and specification to implementation, verification, and system integration
  • Comprehensive skills in RTL design using SystemVerilog or Verilog, with practical experience in integrating DSPs, microcontrollers, bus systems, and peripheral interfaces
  • Deep understanding of ASIC development flows and toolchains (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys), including simulation, synthesis, and backend handover
  • Experience in leading technical ASIC projects – where you coordinate milestones, manage risks, and keep teams aligned
  • Skilled in working across disciplines (e.g. signal processing, embedded SW, hardware), and skilled in communicating with internal stakeholders as well as external foundries and design partners
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

You are not just a specialist – you are a structured, delivery-focused expert who takes ownership, understands system-level dependencies, and knows how to bring high-complexity ASIC projects successfully across the finish line.
