As a Crisis Therapist at Pawnee, you'll play a critical role in providing immediate mental health support and crisis interventions to those in need. Based out of our 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Unit, you'll conduct assessments for clients facing acute mental health challenges, collaborate with law enforcement to de-escalate situations, and connect individuals to vital resources. You'll be part of a supportive, dynamic team, making a meaningful impact every day while building lasting professional connections.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor client responses.
- Conduct health assessments and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate clients and families about medications, treatments, and healthy living practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in care planning and client progress reviews.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Required
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or a closely related field. The education degree shall be from an accredited institutional setting.
- Licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board of the State of Kansas and able to meet the statutory definition of Qualified Mental Health Professional.
- Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
- Basic personal computer skills required.
Preferred
- State approved QMHP and Case Management Training from KDADs. If not- will be completed at first available opportunity after employment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software preferred
