At Lavazza Denmark we have the strongest portfolio of coffee brands in Denmark – the most famous coffee brand Merrild, and Lavazza, the premium Italian coffee brand no. 1.
We are in a very positive development and looking for a Procurement Manager, that will be responsible for implementing Group's category strategies in alignment with local internal needs. You will report to the Nordic CFO and the position will be in our Danish office in Fredericia.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as the link between Headquarter Procurement and the local Requesting Department (i.e. Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT) - both on an operational and strategic level - and ensure compliance with Global Lavazza strategies.
- Implement category strategies in line with Headquarter requirements, managing purchasing decisions based on priorities defined over a medium- to long-term time frame, seizing savings opportunities, mitigating risks, and ensuring quality and competitiveness.
- Manages local strategic supplier sourcing, including supplier scouting, evaluation and selection based on defined metrics and requirements from the applicant department (e.g., pricing, product/service requirements and specification, delivery schedules, quantity), as well as contract negotiation and finalization.
- Manages supplier relationship and contracting, identifying areas of improvement based on performance feedback and results, defining supplier development activities, and managing contract lifecycle.
- Creating Purchase Orders for the local Requesting Departments, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and priorities, while ensuring orders are completed timely and accurately, and effective purchase orders lifecycle management including eventual amendments or cancellations
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and both internal and external standards of the reference Country, staying updated on changing regulatory requirements.
- Local support for all procurement matters – both operational, tactical and strategic.
- Keep track of KPIs and metrics to check local budget vs actual spending progress.
- Engagement in ad hoc task or projects at local level.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders both nationally and internationally as well as internal and external.
- Effectively managing concurrent tasks and projects and being able to adjust to shifts between operational and strategic work.
- Experience in identifying potential suppliers and defining evaluation criteria’s.
- Skilled in designing negotiation strategies and contract management i.e. renewals, disputes, and compliance throughout its lifecycle
- Are familiar with local laws in the field of procurement.
- Effective skills in IT and familiarity with SAP will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Danish
