As our new Network Specialist, you’ll be part of an international team ensuring end-to-end network deliveries within Arla IT Operations, responsible for running and maintaining a diverse global IT setup.
“We have made a strategic decision to insource the LAN service to obtain better, faster and more flexible deliveries. Therefore, we are hiring in for building up a state-of-the-art NOC team that will secure the services from implementing new network solutions in our Solutions organisation to operating the network in our Operations organisation through close collaboration” says IT Manager Matthew Mowat.
How You Will Make An Impact
You will maintain normal operations and be responsible for tasks within network administration. We have an aspiring growth strategy to create the future of dairy in Arla Foods and the key driver for this is strengthening our network infrastructure and bring it up to speed with industry standards. We are continuously refreshing our network and currently in the process of rolling out Cisco SDA on our sites to support our goals. Specifically, your responsibility will be to maintain a LAN consisting of approximately 5000 switches and AP’s spread across 120 sites in 41 countries.

Specifically, you will
- Resolve incidents that arise in the infrastructure
- Support and develop our monitoring capabilities to utilize ML/AI
- Ensure quality in our operational documentation
- Participate in PI-planning and System Demo together with the team members in our agile teams
- Ensure continuous improvement in our ways of working
What Will Make You Successful

- Bachelor or Master’s degree within IT
- Knowledge of networking protocols
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Switches, routers and wireless solutions
- Knowledge of Next Generation Firewalls, preferably Palo Alto
- Experience with working in an Operational setup – preferably experience with ITIL
- Experience in working with problem solving in network infrastructure
- Comfortable with learning new technologies
- You speak and write English effortlessly
