Within this team, our dedicated retrofit group leads the way in designing concepts and projects that convert ship engines to run on eco-friendly fuels and enhance energy efficiency.
These retrofit initiatives play a crucial role in steering the shipping industry toward a zero-carbon future and are a cornerstone of Everllence’s decarbonization strategy. We are currently seeking a Certification Specialist to join our Decarbonization Retrofits team based in Copenhagen.

You will play an important role in:
- Working with engine technologies, including our low-carbon dual-fuel engines that enable the maritime industry's transition to carbon neutrality.
- Supporting the planning, analysis, and follow-up of engine emission-related tasks to ensure compliance with IMO NOx regulations for assigned projects.
- Participating in the development and implementation of IMO NOx certification concepts together with our senior experts for retrofit projects.
- Staying up to date on current and upcoming IMO and other maritime legislation relevant to your area of work.
- Joining internal and external discussions to support clarifications on emission certification and related topics.
- A relevant engineering background or equivalent education, specialized in environmental engineering, emission technology, combustion engines, or environmental law.
- A basic understanding of IMO, EU, or other international and local regulations related to emissions.
- An interest in working across disciplines and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- A structured working style, with a focus on documentation and process-driven methods.
