About The Team

The Development Team currently consists of 10 developers: 7 backend and 3 frontend specialists.

Skatteguiden has recently transitioned from a classic development team to a squad structure.

You will join one of three squads, each with a focus on a specific product or service.

Squads are composed of 3-4 developers who participate in tasks assigned within their squad.

These are autonomous squads—developers decide on and prioritise the tasks that need to be implemented.

About The Role

You will have a crucial responsibility for driving and implementing the technological development of Skatteguiden's app. Ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for hundreds of thousands of active users.

Curiosity and a willingness to acquire and share knowledge are essential for both your future success and that of the company.

You will contribute to prioritising tasks and shaping the product roadmap within an autonomous and agile team environment.

In addition to these qualities, it would also be advantageous if you:

• Develop and maintain new features for the Skatteguiden mobile app using React Native
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional squad, including Product, Backend, Frontend, and UX team members
• Participate actively in squad planning and task prioritisation to align with company strategy and user needs
• Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code following best practices in React Native, TypeScript, and Redux Toolkit
• Use Git for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and code quality through reviews and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to improve app performance and user experience
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and the overall product
• Work primarily on-site with a team of experienced developers in a supportive, tech-driven environment

Your Experience

• Preferably 3+ years of commercial hands-on development experience with React Native
• Strong proficiency in both TypeScript and Redux Toolkit (RTK)
• Experienced in using Git for version control
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and code review processes
• Possess knowledge and experience with automated mobile/app testing
• Familiarity with mobile app development best practices, including building and deploying iOS apps (MacBook usage required)
• Comfortable collaborating within autonomous, cross-functional squads and participating in task prioritisation
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges
• Experience using terminal/command line tools is a plus, indicating higher technical proficiency
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from start to finish
