Senior IT Analyst - Nordic Payments

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Analyst with expertise in Nordic payment systems for a client in the financial sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in understanding and documenting business and IT requirements, particularly in the areas of SEPA, Swift, and ISO messages. Key competencies include strong IT analysis skills, previous experience as a Requirement Specialist in the payment domain, and a deep understanding of data mapping and migration processes.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior IT Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements while providing essential support for quality control activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Eliciting and documenting Business/IT Requirements.
• Creating comprehensive Requirements Specification Documents.
• Analyzing data to ensure accurate requirements representation.
• Identifying all impacted people and systems.
• Assisting in development and quality control activities.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Strong IT analysis skills.
• In-depth knowledge of payment systems and related domains.
• Prior experience as a Requirement Specialist in the payment area (SEPA, Swift, and MT to MX ISO messages).
• Experience with data mapping, data flows, and migration.
• Strong technical knowledge
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with bulking and de-bulking of files.
• Understanding of Instant payments vs. SEPA classic payments.
• Knowledge in customer enrollment processes.
