Aquaporin is an innovative water technology company leveraging biotechnology to improve the efficiency of water treatment and concentration of various streams. Our main strategy is to develop the Aquaporin Inside technology capable of separating and purifying water from all other compounds.
We are looking for a QC/QA specialist to join our QEHS team. With reference to our Quality Manager, the QC/QA specialist will be collaborating across the organization, including Aquaporin’s office in Singapore. You have experience working in a laboratory or in the quality universe in general. Since this is a broad-ranging position, you will work cross-organizationally in your role, which means that you have very good communication and collaboration skills and preferably teaching experience. You are close to Aquaporin’s employees in your daily work, have a "hands on" approach and the ability to operate under “freedom with responsibility”.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection between technical understanding and quality control and assurance.

Key Responsibilities
- Quality control and release of supplies and internal manufactured products
- Maintain QC laboratory facilities and calibration system
- Handling non-conformities and improvements
- Coordination of customer and supplier claim handling
- Development and maintenance of procedure, work, analysis and control instructions to ensure Good Manufacturing practice/GMP).
- Support continuous management of system improvements
- Educate and train the organization
- Secure documentation, including policy development
- Technical background or a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 3+ years of experience, preferably from a similar position, with an understanding of quality management according to ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of laboratory work, internal audits, calibration and training/guidance of employees
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with quality management according to ISO 9001, Quality control and release, including writing instructions.
- Able to incorporate mathematics / statistics in day-to-day work
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS-BC / MS_CRM
- High-level proficiency in English is a must, both verbal and written.
