Then you might be the right person to become our new colleague as Production Engineer at Danfoss Building Solutions in Silkeborg.
We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Production Engineer with a "Hands-On" attitude to join our ambitious team.
You will have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the production of Danfoss' flagship products - the well-known radiator thermostat and its accompanying valves.
In collaboration with 17 colleagues, you will ensure stable production on highly automated equipment. You will be part of a highly skilled team dedicated to optimizing production and maximizing our potential capacity.
The location of this role is in Silkeborg, DK. We expect you to work on-site on a regular basis and speaking Danish is a requirement Job Responsibilities As our new Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal operations and quality in our highly automated factory - with a particular focus on our plastic moulding processes and tools.
You will plan and execute various technical projects across the factory and be involved in both daily support and long-term improvements.

In addition, you will take part in introducing and refining quality processes, support IATF16949 implementation, and help shape continuous improvements across production Background & Skills Having relevant experience or education from the plastic moulding industry is a requirement – perhaps as a Plastic Process Technician, Mechanical or Production Engineer, Marine Engineer, or another practically oriented mid-level qualification.
You bring hands-on experience from a technical environment – maybe within automation, process optimization, LEAN, quality improvements, or technical project work.

- Supporting daily production, especially in the plastic moulding area, in moulding of smaller components for thermostats and valves.
- Optimizing plastic moulding tools, part designs, materials and technical documentation.
- Contributing to quality improvements using tools such as PFMEAs and control plans.
- Managing technical optimizations, stabilization, cost-reduction initiatives and projects, including tools & machinery investments.
- Driving implementation of new product variants and production equipment in the plastic moulding area.
- Participating in LEAN activities and identifying opportunities for production efficiency.
In addition, you will take part in introducing and refining quality processes, support IATF16949 implementation, and help shape continuous improvements across production Background & Skills Having relevant experience or education from the plastic moulding industry is a requirement – perhaps as a Plastic Process Technician, Mechanical or Production Engineer, Marine Engineer, or another practically oriented mid-level qualification.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:
- Has a solid grasp of technical processes – and ideally experience with plastic moulding and automation
- Is familiar with 2D/3D CAD and technical drawings
- Takes ownership of maintaining tools and equipment
- Communicates fluently in both Danish and English – written and spoken
