Marine Inspection Coordinator/Specialist

We are looking for a new colleague to join an exiting project with our client in the renewable industry.

Location: Skærbæk nearby Fredericia, onsite.

• Educational background as a ships officer, naval architect, or similar at bachelor level
• Education and/or training in maritime law, quality management systems and auditing
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a surveyor or Superintendent or other comparable skills
• Good knowledge of international rules and regulations, classification, and port state regimes
• Good skills with working with digital solutions experience with SharePoint is a benefit
• Experience with performing office audits in IMS will be a benefit
• Professional level of English - both written and oral
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

• Coordinate Vessel inspection off all vessels entering our client's sites directly contracted and sub-contracted
• Plan inspections with external vessel inspectors
• Help vessel inspectors with digital issues in case of access issues or use of our client's vessel inspection app
• Be the maritime specialist between the packages having vessels entering an our client's site
• Communication and coordination of vessel information to and from site management, crew on the vessel and the external vessel inspectors
• Subject Matter Expert for managers and management in our client with regards to vessel safety related topics incl. accidents and incidents
• MMSI Audit of contractor can be needed to perform and will be preferred
