Senior Software Engineer (Sitecore)

Job Description: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building and evolving Sitecore-based digital platforms for some of the most recognized companies in Denmark. You will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside solution architects, DevOps engineers, and QA specialists – with a clear focus on backend development
Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Sitecore (9.x or 10.x) and the .NET stack

• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to plan platform architecture and integrations

• Develop APIs and backend services that power content-driven experiences

• Optimize performance, security, and maintainability of Sitecore-based platforms

• Ensure compliance with development standards and contribute to internal best practices

• Participate in peer code reviews and provide technical mentorship to other developers

• Work closely with Danish enterprise clients, translating business needs into robust backend solutions

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET technologies

• 3+ years of hands-on Sitecore experience, ideally including Helix and SXA

• Deep understanding of CMS architecture, component-based development, and content delivery patterns

• Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, CRM, DAM, ERP, etc.)

• Experience with TDS or Unicorn or similar products

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git)

• Experience working in agile development teams

• Strong communication skills in Danish (English is a plus)
