If so, the Executive Assistant role in Personal Customers (PC) and Financial Crime Risk & Prevention (FCR&P) is a fantastic opportunity for you.

As the Executive Assistant in PC and FCR&P, you will support and act as a sparring partner to the Head of Personal Customers & Financial Crime Risk & Prevention, who is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team of Danske Bank. You will also be a supporting partner to the management teams of the PC and FCRP units. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to decision-making processes and takes pride in driving and managing the details of daily business operations. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into how we serve and support our retail and private banking customers and our efforts to protect customers, the bank, and society against financial crime.

As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the following key examples:

  • Engage in strategy and execution processes and activities in both PC and FCR&P, including communication towards the PC and FCRP units, the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors and more broadly across the Danske Bank Group
  • Plan and execute internal and external events, such as townhalls, leadership offsites and external speaking engagements e.g. with regulators or industry professionals
  • Collect, manage, and develop high-quality reporting to support daily, tactical, and strategic steering of the two units and their management teams
  • Co-facilitate management meeting agendas, ensuring management teams have the right conditions and foundation for discussion and problem-solving together
  • Ensure oversight, follow-up and execution of short, medium, and long-term priorities, involving substantial stakeholder management
  • Execute on ad hoc financial and communication activities, including organisational changes, development dialogues, financial analysis, and cross-unit events e.g. PC Joiner’s Day
  • Develop cohesive narratives and materials towards the internal and broader organizations that integrate financial, strategic, and organisational analysis, highlighting activities and progress against internal and external commitments

We are looking for someone who can work independently, flexibly, and proactively, thriving in an environment where no two days are alike. You will interact with various stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, so the ability to navigate tasks at both operational and strategic levels is essential. Specifically, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has over 3+ years of experience in project management, management consulting, or a similar field
  • Can plan, prioritise, execute, and follow up on large and small deliveries in a proactive and timely manner
  • Possesses strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of senior stakeholders
  • Is organised and structured, able to balance multiple agenda items
  • Has a strong financial acumen and the ability to engage in analytical questions and problems
  • Is a team player, ready to take joint responsibility with the Personal Assistant to support both the Head of PC & FCR&P and the management teams
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines and delivery schedules
  • Is proficient in written and verbal English
