Audo Copenhagen is looking for a Category Manager to join Supply Chain

We are looking for an experienced industry expert to join our Global Supply Chain in the role as Category Manager. You will join a key team that is placed in the middle of the value chain with a task and ambition to orchestra our end to end supply chain. You are a strategic thinking and dynamic Category Manager to lead selected product categories, driving customer satisfaction, growth, profitability, and brand excellence.

As a Category Manager at Audo Copenhagen, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for specific product families within furniture, ensuring a professional supplier footprint that is able to deliver high service levels across our sales channels. You are an experienced sourcing profile in the industry already and you understand how to succeed within both the contract market and the wholesale business. You know and understand the supplier landscape within the soft seating segment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product development, Sales support, finance and suppliers to optimize supplier relationships, pricing strategies, product availability and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favourable terms.
• Secure high service levels on both delivery and quality
• Collaborate with design and product development teams to ensure product offerings align with brand identity.
• Monitor category performance and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and sourcing options.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the category.
• Operational order handling and coordination of orders towards suppliers and sales support.

Qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in category management within the industry.
• Strong ERP and Excel skills. SAP an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Passion for design, creativity, and sustainability is a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
