We are excited to invite a talented Software Engineer to join our vibrant team in Copenhagen. Our team is dedicated to a diverse range of development initiatives, collaborating across various facets of the retail business.


Core Responsibilities

As a valued member of our Shopper Technology team, you will work alongside passionate engineers, product managers, and domain experts to deliver tailored solutions at the right moment. Your contributions will be instrumental in redefining existing systems or creating innovative new ones, primarily utilizing a modern cloud-native architecture with TypeScript and Node.js.

As a Software Engineer, your core responsibilities will include



  • Collaborating with Software Engineers and Product Owners to conduct discovery work and identify essential deliverables.
  • Applying event-driven and domain-driven design principles to develop flexible, resilient systems that foster continuous innovation.
  • Assisting in infrastructure management through Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK/Terraform) to ensure secure and maintainable deployments.
  • Engaging in design sessions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to enhance team skills and uphold quality standards.
  • Understanding our objectives and the needs of our users to ensure impactful delivery.

Do You Have What It Takes?



  • Experience or familiarity with frontend development using modern frameworks like Next.js, as well as backend development with languages such as TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
  • Understanding of observability tools like Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with modern CI/CD and engineering tools—our stack includes Amazon Web Services, GitHub Actions, and CDK/Terraform.
