The Global Head of Indirect Procurement will lead a team of 6 Global Category leaders with a total team size of approx. 100 colleagues. Cross-functional collaboration is of utmost importance and will see the successful candidate partnering with the following internal stakeholders:
- Head of Asset Strategy and Strategic Partnerships (and ASSP leadership team colleagues)
- Head of Tax, Head of Legal,
- Head of Marketing,
- Head of Treasury, Head of Insurance,
- Head of Accounting, Head of SG&A Finance,
- Head of Crewing,
- Various Heads in TECH,
- Head of Strategy,
- CFO, Brand CFO’s
- Platform organization
- Regional & Area Managing Directors
Responsibilities:
- Set and steer the strategic direction of Indirect Procurement.
- Further enhance (build) strong capabilities in Procurement and be an effective representative for Asset Strategy and Strategic Partnerships and Procurement.
- Be a strategic partner to Executive Leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure customer centricity in the Indirect Procurement solutions
- Enable and empower team to work with respective stakeholders globally through a simple engagement model.
- Drive a mentality of optimization and ensure that network and process synergies can be harvested.
- Be an inspirational leader for the wider team of >100 employees and a key player in the Asset Strategy and Strategic Partnerships Leadership team.
- Drive to continuously improve the ESG results in Indirect Categories.
- Lead in executing key strategic and high impact procurement projects in Indirect.
- Cost competitiveness of the categories in scope.
- End to end category management programs within scope.
- Implement Digital solutions in Indirect Supply Chain (P2P)
- Development of team members and succession planning.
- SRM engagement with strategic suppliers.
- Having the organization in place and operating effectively (with the right capability set).
- Optimization and standardization of processes in place.
- Engaging and motivating the team, embedding practices that promote engagement & inclusion index, driving action planning rigor towards being a team that thrives on psychological safety and trust..
- Delivery against Game Plan and Page 0 metrics.
- Consulted on: Any policies not owned/governed by Indirect relating to SG&A or cost drives, Co-location plans/brand changes, asset decisions impacting corporate real estate, Employee journey changes (incl. Phones, laptops etc) Crisis management (evacuations, pandemics, wars etc – anything that puts our travellers in harms way)
- Extensive Procurement knowledge and experience.
- Inspirational leader of leaders with global transformation experience.
- Been successful in a complex matrix organization.
- Ideally digital and platform understanding.
- Superior stakeholder manager and collaborator.
- Assertive and convincing storyteller.
- High degree of Learning Agility.
- Customer centric mindset.
- Comfortable with 20% international travel annually.
