Job Description

Kickstart your career with the LEGO Group!

Are you ready to take your first career step? We’re looking for a motivated and curious new graduate to join us in a 10-month temporary role.

No prior experience with brand governance? No problem. What matters most is your drive, eagerness to learn, and passion for working with one of the world’s most loved brands. This is your chance to gain valuable hands-on experience, grow your skills, and be part of a fun, supportive, and global team.

What You’ll Do – Day To Day

In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, guiding product development from initial design to final approval across a wide range of LEGO licensed products — from apparel to accessories

  • Maintaining high brand and quality standards within LEGO Licensing products. Done through overseeing the Licensing product portfolio’s final product stage contractual samples.
  • Approving final product samples to make sure the brand IP is driven to quality standards.
  • Making sure that our warehouse is organized and that all Licensing samples are handled in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Brand Governance Specialist with product comments (providing brand and IP guidance) shipping/logistic tasks, sample handling and general admin tasks.
  • General internal stakeholder communication with teams such as design, brand, legal, compliance and sustainability.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Step into the world of LEGO licensing and help protect one of the world’s most loved brands!

As part of our Licensing & Extended Line (LEL) team, you’ll help bring LEGO beyond the bricks — into backpacks, mugs, keychains, t-shirts, and many more fun products that fans can enjoy every day.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Brand Governance team to make sure all licensed products meet LEGO’s high standards for quality, safety, and brand integrity. You’ll be part of the process from start to finish — reviewing product designs and samples and making sure everything stays true to the LEGO brand.

Our motto is simple Only the best is good enough.

You’ll play a key part in making sure fans of all ages continue to trust and love our brand — wherever they meet it. This is a fantastic chance to explore how we extend LEGO play beyond the building sets and bring Learning through Play to life in many different ways!

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need years of experience to apply — we’re here to help you learn! But we are looking for someone who

  • Is curious and eager to learn about product development and licensing approvals (across apparel, soft goods, hard goods, plastics, and accessories).
  • Has a strong interest in brand protection, product quality, and creative development.
  • Is motivated to understand how we review and approve product samples to ensure they meet LEGO brand standards.
  • Someone with an interest in textiles, in particular kids clothing will be preferred.
  • Feels comfortable working in a structured and organized way, handling multiple tasks and details at the same time.
  • Enjoy giving clear, constructive feedback and collaborating with internal colleagues (such as Design and Business).
  • Has great communication skills and can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Has a sharp eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Is fluent in English.

Since no prior experience is required, your motivation is key!

Please include a short motivational cover letter where you tell us why you would love to join the LEGO Group, and what excites you about this opportunity.
