Join us as Student Assistant
As a student Assistant in Novonesis’ Food & Beverage division, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and executing on the global strategy for Biosolutions focusing on Functional Foods.
The job will expose you to various kinds of qualitative and quantitative analysis, ranging from market analysis and business development research. Tasks will often involve building compelling presentations based on data to enable us to formulate and execute our strategy. You will drive processes e.g. market analysis independently while also assisting the team with operational and day-to-day administrative tasks.

We are a project-based, fast-paced department, and your learning curve is steep from day one. However, you won’t be alone on this journey. You’ll be part of tight knit core team and join an office with many other
students and be part of the Novonesis student network. This offers the perfect opportunity to grow in a safe environment.
The average time commitment in the position is 15-20 hours per week split on two-three days. The workload will vary, and we expect mutual flexibility for you to solve tasks timely and at the same time attend exams.

In This Role You’ll Make An Impact By
- Playing a central role in setting up best practice sharing and collaboration including ownership of our internal collaboration portal.
- Assisting the team in a variety of tasks which could involve market, customers and competitor analyses and story building for sales pitches and external communication.
- Driving processes and projects independently in order to help the team deliver on key priorities.
- Be enrolled on a bachelor’s degree (third year) or starting a master’s degree (first year) within marketing or biotech science
- Be a high-performing and ambitious individual thriving with challenges
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a data-driven approach
- Be a quick and proactive learner with good communicational skills required to successfully engage with a broad range of stakeholders across a global company
- Be a good team player who is also able to work independently taking responsibility for key deliverables
- Have excellent skills working with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Be fluent in both oral and written English
