About The Team

You will be part of Reporting and Finance IT systems and maintenance in the Central Finance Unit. The Central Finance Unit is focusing on providing FDB wide services including Corporate Accounting, Corporate Tax compliance, Internal Controls, Central Controlling, Central reporting and ERP and finance systems management.

The unit is currently being developed and will consist of a team of highly skilled professional dedicated employees with broad experience within finance, corporate tax, controlling and reporting.

The Unit consists of four different departments Corporate Accounting and Tax, Group Financial controlling, Reporting and Finance IT systems and maintenance, and is a part of the Global finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work Instruction Support: Assist and update SAP process instructions to ensure clarity and efficiency.
  • Testing & Requirements Management: Document testing requirements, ensure comprehensive coverage, and track timely completion across all sites.
  • Finance Change Approvals: Oversee all finance-related approvals, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution of incidents.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various functional areas to harmonize finance processes and SAP implementations.
  • Incident Management: Timely resolution of SAP-related issues to minimize operational disruptions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a finance and SAP role within a large corporation, ideally in a multi-site, multinational organization.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying SAP technical matters to non-technical staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English


Preferred Qualifications

We would love to have candidates with SAP S4/Hana Finance experience who also have exposure to the following functional areas and processes.

  • Sales and Distribution (SD)- including billing, revenue recognition and integration with Finance
  • Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Make-to-Order (MTO) processes-understanding of financial flows tied to project-based manufacturing
  • Projects Systems (PS)- especially as it relates to cost tracking, budgeting, and settlement
  • Strong understanding of cross-module integration between
  • Familiarity with Fiori-based finance apps used in financial and project reporting
