Head of IT Infrastructure (H/F) - SATAIR A/S

Job Description: Join Satair as Head of IT Infrastructure and lead our IT Infrastructure team in the direction which supports our ambitions, by ensuring stability, reliability and a scalable platform. Your technical knowledge can be handy but, you have a preference for leadership and management (and know how to balance each discipline). The position is situated in Copenhagen (Denmark) and is not hybrid. What the job is ... As the Head of IT Infrastructure, you are responsible for overseeing our IT Infrastructure. This entails reliable operations, maintenance and optimization of our platform in close collaboration with other teams in IT, in particular our IT Support. Our platform closely integrates with Airbus meaning you will be working with stakeholders outside of our organization, requiring good coordination and communication skills. Our IT Infrastructure environment runs globally and is utilized 24/7. We consider maintenance of this crucial and have the ambition to drive it forward by utilizing further cloud-based products as a replacement for our on-prem solutions. Information Security is key to safeguarding our business and an area we want to continue our good development on. You will lead a skilled team of experts with 10 direct reports, and collaborate across departments. Your involvement and ability to guide and set direction will be needed. You will report to the Head of Infrastructure & Operations. We are on an ambitious journey and out of the biggest projects we are delivering, you will need to ensure IT is made functional for our two new Danish locations and merge an acquisition onto our platform. Your responsibilities will include, development and execution of the IT Infrastructure strategy, managing budgets and resources (internal as well as external), ensuring IT operational excellence, compliance on internal requirements and legal frameworks and effective vendor management. Travel is expected but, to a limited extent. How you will contribute to the team In this leadership role, you will inspire and mentor your team. You will therefore need to practice management and provide leadership in order to cultivate our environment of collaboration and growth. An important part of your role is stakeholder engagement internally within our organisation and towards colleagues across the world in Satair and Airbus. You believe that good relations are built on trust and take ownership of your tasks because it’s a leader's role. By emphasizing IT operational excellence and leadership, you ensure that our environment runs smoothly and is secured.

• Strong experience in operating complex IT environments . You hold a proven track record in managing complex IT systems, ensuring seamless operations, high performance and effective 24/7 support.

• Strong collaboration skills . You have an excellent ability to work across departments and build partnerships that drive operational stability, project success and organizational goals. This includes strong and important collaboration with other parts of our IT organization who we deliver to.
• Strong experience in vendor management . You’ve got a demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and performance standards.
• Strong negotiation skills . You have proven expertise in negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms that align with strategic objectives.
• Strong general business acumen . You hold a solid understanding of business principles and practices, enabling effective alignment of IT Infrastructure initiatives with overall organizational goals.
• Consistent focus on commitment . You put a strong emphasis on fulfilling commitments to create trust and reliability, ensuring accountability in all interactions.
• Excellent communication skills in English . You’re proficient in both written and oral communication, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of compliance . You’re familiar with applicable legal requirements and ensure compliance towards internal requirements too.
