Core Responsibilities
This Competency Lead role will provide strategic direction and improve the visibility, accessibility, and seamless integration of GenAI into various applications, and processes. Crafting engineering excellence and encouraging a culture of collaboration and innovation. Champion and facilitate the democratization and integration of GenAI, crafting the future of AI-technology at The LEGO Group.
The AI department is at the forefront of the LEGO Group's digital transformation, driving and enabling the dissemination and use of GenAI to shape the future of technology within the organization. Instrumental in establishing a vision for Developer Experience (DX) and providing foundational services, this department empowers hundreds of digital product-teams and guides the next generation of LEGO's digital services in the cloud. With a dedication to optimizing developer efficiency, the team not only improves the visibility and accessibility of GenAI but also ensures its seamless integration into various products and processes.
Together, these efforts embody success stories that resonate across industries and foster a vision of innovation, collaboration, and technological excellence, all aimed at enabling the digital success of the LEGO Group.
The team is based on the new LEGO Digital Hub in Copenhagen, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.
Do you have what it takes?
The preferred candidate has previous experience of managing the performance and development of hard-working software engineers at junior to senior levels. Several years of hands-on experience in Developer Productivity using cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) technologies and modern scalable/resilient solutions. A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering is preferred. Strong seniority working with software development technologies in a SCRUM and agile setup is expected.
