Could you be the full-time Troubleshooting Technician in Copenhagen we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical troubleshooting, investigation, and testing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and supportive teammates.

You'll provide crucial technical expertise to subcontractors, the warranty support team, and project team members, ensuring the availability of Alstom products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (PI Support team, RAMS team, Project Engineering team), carry out troubleshooting during various project phases and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of fleet check activities, report any deviations in our Failure Management database, and support our operation helpdesk, but also apply and enforce Alstom & customer EHS & security rules on customer sites.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Conducting troubleshooting and repairs during the Product Introduction period, as well as Pre-warranty & Commissioning
  • Executing tests and troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance
  • Supporting the implementation of Field Modifications when required
  • Recommending preventative and corrective actions
  • Providing technical leadership and conducting peer reviews of PI activities
  • Contributing to the Return of Experience process
  • Leading a team of Troubleshooters if needed

All About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Certified Technician or Undergraduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics)
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing (> 10 years for Senior positions)
  • Knowledge of EHS practices and product familiarity
  • Familiarity with IT systems
  • An internal EHS training certification
  • Ability to work independently (self-government)
  • Excellent communication skills and customer contact experience
