The Role

Our IT department is growing - and we are for a Senior System Administrator who is passionate about infrastructure excellence, automation, and the future of AI-enhanced operations. This is a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and evolution of our systems landscape while contributing to smarter, more automated processes across the company.

Your Responsibilities

- Maintain, secure, and optimize our Microsoft Azure-based environments

- Implement governance and policy controls in Azure and Microsoft 365

- Design and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and technical documentation

- Deploy and optimize observability using Azure Monitor, Sentinel, and Log Analytics

- Collaborate on building infrastructure and security posture that supports ISO 27001 certification and compliance with GDPR and NIS2

- Administer Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and access management policies

- Lead incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis across systems and environments

- Support development teams with secure, automated, and governed infrastructure

AI, Automation & Innovation – A Core Focus

What We are Looking For

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration or IT operations

- Proven experience with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Bash), Azure infrastructure and Git(hub)

- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and Azure governance

- Ability to implement security policies, SOPs, and documentation aligned with ISO 27001, NIS2, and GDPR requirements

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, networking, monitoring, and endpoint protection

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, Ansible)

- Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerized infrastructure

Bonus Skills

- Understanding of AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Github Copilot or other AI tools

- Vivid learner and always up to date with newest tech news around AI/Azure/MDM
