Senior Airfield Engineer

As Senior Airport Engineer, your most important responsibility will be to contribute by example and by applying your experience to projects and our current team of aviation specialists. The team is diverse with different professional and social backgrounds, but all team members share an important level of specialist knowledge within airfield design. We are proud to have a high level of engagement and great internal collaborations across the country to meet our goals of an attractive and sought after workplace. As part of your daily work, you will both partake in your own projects with our customers as well as contribute to airport projects in and outside of Denmark.

Your key activities will be:

• Designing airside infrastructure including aprons, taxiways, master planning, writing specifications and tendering material.
• Airfield design using CAD design software.
• Cross disciplinary collaboration with other disciplines.
• Collaborating with clients to implement value engineering for optimal project outcomes.
• Mentoring and being role model for junior engineers and supporting their professional development.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, curious, and interested in expanding their professional knowledge and skills. On the other hand, we give the opportunity to learn from the best in industry.As part of your skills, you will have:

• A degree in civil engineering or similar with +10 years’ total experience with 5 years in airport design.
• An extensive background in aviation standards such as ICAO, EASA and FAA including the Danish BL requirements.
• Experience with large complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience steering projects and providing technical guidance for clients and colleagues in Denmark and abroad.
• Professional proficiency in Danish and English.
