People Lead & Product Manager in Data & Insights
MobilePay

At Vipps MobilePay, we simplify life for millions across the Nordics. From paying a friend, sharing costs in a group, paying at a local market or shop, to online shopping and app payments our wallet replaces hassle with dazzle — and data is at the core of making that possible. We're now hiring a People Lead and Product Manager to lead our data specialists in Aarhus and Copenhagen — and help shape the future of our entire Data & Insights area at Vipps MobilePay.
If you're someone who thrives on building high-performing teams and turning data into real business value, this might be the role for you.
What will you actually do?
Your focus will be leading the Data Product Hub team and the data specialists located in Aarhus and Copenhagen, fostering a culture of trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You’ll also take on a product leadership role, helping to define priorities and drive the overall direction of our data products and platform.
In short: You’ll lead people, help shape our data strategy, and act as a bridge between tech and business.
Your day-to-day might include:
- Leading and developing the Data Product Hub team that have data specialists across Aarhus, Copenhagen and Oslo — with direct people leadership responsibility for the members located in Denmark. You’ll build a strong team culture, support personal and professional growth, and ensure the team is thriving, motivated, and delivering value.
- Acting as product lead for internal data products — defining roadmaps, scoping work, and ensuring what we build creates real impact.
- Collaborating with data analysts, data engineers, software engineers and business stakeholders to identify the right problems to solve with data.
- Being part of the Data & Insights leadership team and working closely with the Head of Data & Insights to prioritize across teams at Data and Insights, align efforts, and improve how we deliver value internally.
- Helping the broader organization self-serve and build their own solutions — through education, documentation, tooling, and enablement.
- Staying hands-on with data concepts — while you won't be coding or building dashboards full time, you should be comfortable discussing data products, pipelines, governance, and tooling.
- Representing the team and the Data and Insights area and championing a data-driven culture across the company.
Who are your teammates?
You'll join a team of 16 passionate data professionals based in Oslo, Aarhus, and Copenhagen. The Aarhus/Copenhagen team is part of our Data Product Hub, where data engineers and analysts deliver data products, improve our shared data platform, and help the wider organization learn, build, and make smarter decisions through data.
We live our values in how we work together:
- We’re One Team — we support each other, build with a shared purpose, and trust one another to bring out our best.
- We keep a No Worries attitude — taking responsibility, acting with care, and always doing our best to make things simpler for both colleagues and customers.
- And we Keep It Simple — cutting complexity, making clear decisions, and focusing on what really matters.
