Do you want to turn complexity into clarity for clients? Can you collaborate effectively on complex large-scale projects to achieve successful outcomes? Are you an experienced advisor ready to make an impact? Then, you might be the expert we’re looking for!

Enhance project outcomes through expert client advisory

”The best part of being a Client Advisor is when the Client and the Users are happy and proud of the final result – regardless of whether it’s a large or small project.”

This is a quote from one of our colleagues in Project Management Consultancy and it captures what drives your future colleagues – to create high-quality solutions for clients and users on projects across Denmark and internationally.

To help our clients realize their visions from the first initial ideas to completion and in use, we are looking for an experienced Client Advisor to join our team. Our Client Consultancy Team consists of approximately 130 experienced and skilled employees working closely with our clients on some of Denmark’s most significant projects within buildings, urban development, industry, infrastructure, pharma and more. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects for both public and private clients, including education facilities, sports facilities, hospitals, defence, laboratories, critical infrastructure etc.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Client consultancy services such as clarifying client and user requirements, define the visions, establishing decision bases, program development, process design, tender advice, facilitating competition and risk management processes. Coordinating quality processes, time planning, and budget in all phases such as the initial idea phases, design development, tender and delivery phases
  2. Providing strategic advice to clients regarding project and process management
  3. Leading project management initiatives, facilitation, sharing knowledge and sparring with colleagues, and supporting team members' learning objectives.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, collaboration partners or customers. Developing ties with others comes naturally to you, acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

COWI is a significant player within the building industry and we handle some of the most complex projects which span several disciplines and expert fields. Therefore, you will work with some of the leading specialists in various fields across COWI. One of our colleagues in Project Management Consultancy says:

”COWI is extremely strong in professional expertise, and we have many skilled specialists across a wide range of disciplines. That’s fantastic, as it provides a solid foundation for the consultancy we deliver as client advisors”.

We expect that you have:

  1. An educational background in engineering, architecture, building construction or a related field
  2. Extensive experience with large building projects, providing deep insight and knowledge in planning, construction or civil engineering as a consultant, contractor or developer
  3. The ability to convey and visualize planning outcomes and ensure clear agreements, facilitating effective collaboration among all stakeholders
  4. Proficient communication skills in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing.

The following attributes are not a must, but will be considered advantageous due to the growing demand for sustainability and digitalization in project management at COWI:

  1. Knowledge-based interest in sustainability, including DGNB, LCA, and CO₂ requirements
  2. Experience with sustainable circular aspects within construction and materials
  3. Proficiency in digital tools or integration with BIM and knowledge of digital construction contractual terms.
