Groundswell (https://groundswell.earth) is an AI climate tech startup changing how organizations adapt to the impacts of climate change. Our platform combines intelligent agents, open data, and localized insights to help organizations and communities move from static climate risk assessments to concrete action.

We're a passionate, distributed team working between Europe and the U.S., where you'll have the opportunity to be part of key decisions, customer insights, and strategic direction as we build toward full product release. 

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive AI-powered interfaces for our climate adaptation platform
• Develop interactive user experiences that make complex climate data accessible
• Translate customer needs into features
• Integrate with our backend API and managing real-time data visualization

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js, SvelteKit, React, or Vue
• Built (or are curious about) AI interfaces and conversational UIs 
• Worked with full-stack technologies including dedicated backend, frontend, and database
• Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment with a lot of brainstorming, experimentation, and problem-solving. This is an early-stage product
• You care about climate change and want to build tools that make a difference
• Fluent in English
